My Pilates Project is inspired by the “I’ve got issues” category. I have a predisposition to either hike or drop my right hip depending on the exercise/position in relation to gravity. When I bridge and stand on one leg (left standing) the right side of my pelvis drops; when I’m trying to keep my pelvis evenly anchored, it’s my right side that has trouble staying down. To this end, exercises like “Parakeet” (or Shoulder Roll Down), Single Leg Circles w/leg spring (both on anchor leg and on working leg, but one at a time). Basically, your repertoire seems a good fit for my issue (which seems related to your issue). I look forward to it, and hope I wrote in the section you meant for us to.
Synthia!
Thanks so much for letting me know about your Pilates Project. Yes, my projects are often around the “I’ve got issues…” theme as well. One-sided folkx unite! And your group of nemesis exercises (for lack of a better label for them) is super similar to mine. Different exercise, same problems 🙁
And yes, this is exactly where we can have a nice conversation with others in the group.
See you very soon! xo
